Hi all,
The green team continues to work on the information bulletin board to share information on what can be recycled at school. When students and staff know what can be recycled, we can reduce the amount of garbage produced during lunch.
The David Suzuki Foundation has 10 actions which make up the Nature Challenge.
Here's information about how to reduce your environmental footprint based on the food that you eat: Diet for a healthy planet!
How litterless is your lunch?
More than just dinosaurs!!
Can you help but think about your environment during March break?
It's possible that you will visit the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) during the March 16-20 week off? The Dinosaurs are there, and a diamond exhibit along with the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
But, you may also want to visit an installation at the fourth floor's Institute of Contemporary Culture called HousePaint, phase 2 shelter, an exhibit in which 10 artists produced work to comment about poverty and homelessness.
