Blog - have your say...with EcoKids
Are you passionate about the environment?
Earth Day Canada / EcoKids Canada's web site wants you - the students - to post issues and stories to their blog.
If you're interested click here. Remember to use safe internet practices and only write your first name. You can just write your city. You don't need to be too detailed.
Here's the link: http://www.ecokids.ca/blog/
Have your say. It only takes one person to make a difference.
Remember: Your actions affect everyone around us.

Some local eco-visit links
How have you been spending Waste Reduction Week?
Try to reduce, reuse and recycle every day!
All of the Rs are not equal. Try to reduce your consumption of energy, electricity, things, water and paper each and every day. It's good to help you save money too.
Reuse items before you recycle or donate. Do you use both sides of a paper before throwing it out?
The weather is changing and it's well into fall. Take time to enjoy your natural environment.
Here are some links to help you:
Toronto Botanical Garden There's a Halloween Howl this Saturday, Oct. 24.
Toronto and Region Conservation Black Creek Pioneer Village has Gourd Fest this Saturday.
Green in the city with Evergreen Food, festivities, and fun on Oct. 31 for the final weekend at the Brick Works.
Saturdays from mid-September to late October Evergreen Brick Works has a stewardship program. "Stewardship means to care for and enhance the land and its living and non-living features in a way that maintains and improves them for future generations."
Two Saturday's left to go.
